About Us
Our Story
Corporations spend significant time and resources rolling out digital collaboration platforms in an attempt to reproduce the office environment. These tools immediately increase productivity and connectivity for businesses throughout the world, but relatively soon after those gains become marginal as organizations have not adequately addressed the human challenges surrounding remote work.
In a study conducted by Cubicly, the lack of investment businesses made to enhance employee’s physical and mental health while out of office was the highest factor affecting productivity amongst recently converted remote workers.
At the office, employees have access to basic workstations such as desks and chairs but for many, this standard equipment does not exist at home. In an attempt to replicate the convenience of the office, the staff has turned to work on countertops, couches, coffee tables, and ironing boards! Poor office ergonomics have drastic long-term effects on absenteeism, presenteeism, employee morale, and turnover, which in turn lead to poor work quality, productivity, and physical health.
Cubicly was inspired by the need to build sustainable remote-work solutions for organizations and provide their employees with the ergonomic resources to effectively telework.
